The Packaging Innovation Center is also dedicated to research and development (R&D) aimed at drastically reducing the likelihood of box damage. Through hundreds of drop tests, stacking and vibration scenarios, and temperature fluctuation tests, the center works toward building the safest and most economical logistics system. Among the key tests are the ‘Box Compression Tester’ and the ‘Drop Impact Test,’ which assess the risk of box damage during transportation and stacking. The compression tester applies up to five tons of pressure to ensure the boxes can withstand stacking in warehouses and delivery vehicles.
The drop impact test simulates dropping a box 470 times from a height of 1.2 meters, covering surfaces, edges, and corners, to identify weak points and potential damage. Like an automobile crash test, the primary goal is to minimize box damage and protect the goods inside. Other tests include a vibration test, which applies about 60,000 shocks at different angles and axes, and a temperature test, measuring the effects of conditions ranging from -25°C to 40°C. These tests ensure durability across diverse environments, such as bumpy roads and varying temperatures during transit.

Its interlocking design makes it sturdy and recyclable without the need for tape. This solution reduces packaging time by 65%, boosts productivity by 150%, and enhances durability.
The tape shipping label combines the tape and shipping label into one. Made from eco-friendly paper that replaces plastic tape, this feature not only makes it easy to separate for recycling but also enhances customer privacy. LoIS O'Pack is a system that recommends the optimal box for customer orders using a 3D simulation-based stacking algorithm. As a result, the average packaging space has been reduced by 36%, an impressive figure that surpasses the Ministry of Environment's over-packaging regulation standard of 50%.
