▶ CJ Logistics’ cold storage warehouse in Gainesville, Georgia
CJ Logistics America has officially opened its new cold storage warehouse in Gainesville, Georgia.
First announced earlier this year, this 25,084 square meter facility is located in the heart of the poultry production capital of the world and offers direct access to major highways and railways, including I-985, I-85 and the Norfolk Southern railway system.
The building features Alta EXPERT Refrigeration Systems and QFM blast freezing, advanced cold chain technologies that ensure CJ Logistics America’s customers receive top-of-the-line storage services. The blast freezing system will bring products to desired temperatures in 24 hours, and there will be three separate storage rooms to meet different product needs including finished goods, bakery items, and proteins. There are also 30,000 racked pallet positions along with a USDA office and inspection room on-site.
“Today’s top global businesses demand exceptional service, and that is precisely why we built this facility – to offer them the best,” said Kevin Coleman, CEO of CJ Logistics America. “This distribution center, with its state-of-the-art technology and premier location, further establishes CJ Logistics as a top provider of cold chain solutions for leading brands.”
